I spent ages trying to find an inspirational quote that could put a positive spin on the truly awful week I've had, but settled on these simple few words. What I want these words to convey is that I really don't understand how selfish some people can be, especially at a time when people, your own family, are hurting.

I know grief is hard. I understand the need to take care of yourself and do what's best for yourself, but what I don't understand is people who are so blinded by their own issues that they can't take anyone else's sadness into account.

We're all human. We all go through things. So let's just be nice to each other even in our darkest moments, ok?
